UNSTABLE WAVES
This piece is my bipolar disorder on canvas. It symbolizes the waves of random instability of hyper-manic highs and lows of depression that constantly try to overtake what little stability and structure is left. The horizontal bar represents stability and the red in the bar is comparable to a machine burning hot from overwork. The piece has tons of texture. The white base with purple and yellow accents is a unique mix of acrylic and high gloss gel-based oil paint. The structure bar is acrylic and the massive wave is high gloss gel-based oil.
