The chain shown in the photographs is for styling purposes only and is not included. Three distinctive gemstones come together in this one-of-a-kind pendant from our Fossato Collection. Sparkling Gray Druzy Quartz, polished Silver Sheen Obsidian, and intricately patterned Picasso Jasper create a striking composition of contrasting textures, colors, and natural forms. Each stone is individually framed in a custom-fabricated sterling silver bezel, precisely shaped to follow its unique contours. Additional silver is then cut and formed around the three settings, creating a sculptural outer framework with a recessed channel, or *fossato*—Italian for “moat.” The recessed channels are carefully oxidized to produce deep black outlines, creating dramatic contrast against the surrounding high-polished sterling silver. A custom sterling silver backplate unifies the three settings into one composition, finished with an integrated, custom-formed suspension ring. Entirely handcrafted in our Chicago studio, this original pendant represents hours of meticulous metalwork and individual craftsmanship. Only one exists, and this exact piece will not be reproduced once sold.
