This piece represents all the things we may love and want the most but aren't supposed to have. Our unhealthy desires and cravings that we're so hungry (get it? FEED) for but must avoid. For some, it's immoral vices and for others, it's simply junk food. What are you hungry for? If it's not good for you, don't FEED just stare at the painting. After adding up to 1/4" of texture by splashing multiple layers of acrylic to the canvas and using my "secret" tool to achieve a variety of distressed markings I then created a unique mixture of acrylic, mineral spirits, and an industrial-grade high gloss gel based oil paint for the black splatter effect.
